At The Business Bothy, our General Guidance service is about stripped-back, honest advice. We provide a space to talk through your goals without the pressure of a formal contract or the confusion of corporate jargon.

When to Book a Guidance Session

You don’t need a polished plan or a list of requirements to talk to us. This service is designed for those “in-between” moments, such as:

• The “What If?” Stage: You have a hobby or a skill and want to know if it could realistically become a Highland business.
• The Crossroads: Your business is doing well, but you’re not sure whether to expand, pivot, or stay as you are.
• The Digital Muddle: You know you need an “online presence” but don’t know the difference between a website, SEO, or social media—and you need someone to explain it simply.
• Problem Solving: You’ve hit a specific hurdle—be it staffing, local logistics, or seasonal quiet spells—and you just need a fresh set of eyes on the problem.

I believe in total transparency. You will always know exactly what you are paying upfront, with no surprise bills or ongoing retainers you don’t need.

  • The coffee and the first hour’s chat are always on me. We can chat about the digital challenges you’re facing with zero obligation.
• Hourly Guidance & Support: £25 per hour
  • Straightforward, pay-as-you-go help. Whether you need a single hour to fix a specific problem or a few hours of hands-on training, you only pay for the time you actually use.

Please Note: There are absolutely no contracts, monthly retainers, or hidden fees here. You use my help as much or as little as you need, whenever you need it.
